After outlining the traits of the territorial development model that the European Union seeks for the inner areas, the paper reconstructs the most recent national strategies for the revitalisation of these territories, and then focuses on the NRRP, its territorial dimension and the lines of investment that are mostly directed towards peripheral territories. In conclusion, some reflections are proposed on the NRRP’s real interest in defining a development strategy that mitigates the territory’s marginalities and enhances its ecosystem resources.
Dopo aver delineato i tratti del modello di sviluppo territoriale che l’Unione europea auspica per le aree interne, l’elaborato ricostruisce le più recenti strategie nazionali per il rilancio di tali territori, per poi focalizzarsi sul PNRR, sulla sua dimensione territoriale e sulle linee di investimento che più si direzionano verso i territori periferici. In conclusione, vengono proposte alcune riflessioni sul reale interesse del Piano verso la definizione di una strategia di sviluppo che contrasti le marginalità del territorio e ne valorizzi le risorse ecosistemiche.
