Negli ultimi decenni, gli effetti delle scelte autonomistiche sull’organizzazione sanitaria sono stati esaminati quasi esclusivamente sotto il profilo economico, della produzione di servizi e della spesa. In realtà il rapporto del diritto con l’organizzazione dei servizi chiamati ad assicurarlo è molto più stretto. Occorre quindi individuare modalità più convincenti per garantire l’uguaglianza in salute, consapevoli del fatto che neanche l’uniformità organizzativa è, di per sé, una soluzione efficace.
Over recent decades, the effects of autonomy-driven choices on healthcare organization have been examined almost exclusively from economic standpoints, focusing on service delivery and expenditure. However, the connection between the right to health and the organization of the services responsible for ensuring it is far more complex and intertwined. It is therefore necessary to identify more effective ways to guarantee health equality, recognizing that organizational uniformity alone is not, in itself, an effective solution.
